Resources on Learning and Memory-related Disabilities
The neuroscientists of the CNLM conduct basic research with the goal of understanding processes in the brain that enable learning and memory to occur. This type of basic research is essential for our understanding of normal memory. Also, it can provide understanding of the effects of disease and injury, and can guide the development of therapies for treatment of disease and injury. CNLM scientists do not, however, treat patients suffering from brain disease and injury. We receive many inquiries from individuals who feel they or a loved-one are experiencing memory impairment, as well as from parents of children having difficulty learning, all of whom are looking for assistance in finding organizations that might be able to provide information and treatment. We hope that some of the links below will prove helpful in that quest.
